My Story

Jacqueline Reid has been a teacher for over 30 years, she has taught in high schools, colleges, and universities both here, in the United States, and abroad. She was educated in England, Jamaica, Canada, and the United States and has developed a number of workshops and interactive programs that promote Educational Equity, Culturally Responsive Instruction, Effective Methodologies of Teaching, and the use of literature to teach diverse student populations critical thinking and analytical writing. She has received numerous accolades for her work done with at risk student populations and has been named in the Roll of Outstanding American Teachers and Who's Who of American Teachers.
Among her favorite projects are providing contexts in which people can examine their current circumstances, the elements that impact their lives and using purposeful communication tools to respond to and address certain emotional stressors.
Jacqueline is currently working on a text called the READ Project, which will be published this coming school year and provides relevant topics and real-life situations that help middle and high schools students unlock the mysteries of using advanced informational texts and data for critical thinking, analytical and evaluative writing.
She is a partner in the educational consulting group of Frank Adin & Reid, where she is the Chief Education and Planning Officer.
